- Only players with a maximum FIDE Online Arena Blitz rating below 2000 elo points can play in the championship. This requirement is checked once, when the player’s registers in a qualifier tournament for the first time.
- A total prize fund of 4250 US Dollars (including memberships) shall be distributed to the participants of the final tournament.
- The winner of the title tournament receives the title of “FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Champion” and an invitation to the World Amateur Championship 2016 in Halkidiki, Greece, from April 18th, 2016 to April 28th, 2016.
- The Championship consists of 8 qualifier tournaments, a semifinal and a final tournament.
- The Platinum Membership is required to participate to the championship

The Last (eighth) Qualification Tournament of the FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015 was held on August 6th, at the official FIDE Online platform.
An impressive number of 137 participants competed in the 11-round Swiss event.
Top eight finishers from the event qualified for the semifinal tournament:

The 7th round of the FIDE Amateur World Online Blitz Championship 2015 (rating <2000) was held on July 17th at 7:00 AM UTC.
102 players represented 42 different nations in 11-round Swiss blitz championship. As usual, the first 8 players have qualified for the semifinals (October, 1 2015) and the coveted world title is getting closer for them.
андрей136 (Andrei Mesheriakov) clinched the first place with 10,5 points, leaving the runner-up Campylobacter (Francisco Rivera) 1,5 points behind.

AIM Samanta Debarghya (1920) from India stormed through the tournament, finishing with 10/11 points and leaving the runner-up a full point behind.

The 6th Qualification Tournament of the 1st FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015 was held on 25th June on the official FIDE Online platform.
An impressive number of 112 participants from 38 countries competed in the 11-round Swiss event. The top represented countries are India, Italy, Philippines, United States, Brazil, Greece and Bangladesh.
5th Qualification Tournament of the World Online Amateur Championship
The 5th Qualification Tournament of the 1st FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015 was held on 18th June on the official FIDE Online platform.
An impressive number of 142 participants from 43 countries competed in the 11-round Swiss event. The top represented countries are Italy, India, Poland, Greece, Russia, England, USA.
